Rotary Club Dhaka Luminous plants 1000 palm seeds for environmental protection and lightning protection in Faridpur. With the financial support of the club, on the past Sunday and Monday (October 22nd and 23rd), the Rotary Club Dhaka Luminous planted 1000 palm seeds from Panail Bazar in Alfadanga Upazila of the district to Tita Bazar, along both sides of the village road.
Members of the Alfadanga Rotary Community Corp (RCC), as well as the President of the Togarbhand Union Farmers’ League, Nur Nabi, and local people, were present at this initiative. This palm seed planting project had online media partners, including the popular online news portal Dhaka Times Twentyfour dot com and the Daily Dhaka Times.
Last year, during the monsoon season, Rotary Club Dhaka Luminous planted around 300 fruit and forest tree saplings in Togarbhand Union.
