Rtn. Mohammad Monjurul Karim is the Managing Director and Founder of Excella Corporation Ltd, an Indenting house which deals various basic chemicals and raw materials to the leading pharma and paint industries. His area of excellence is trade marketing and distribution, new product planning & development.
Rtn. Karim started his career as Sales Officer at Burroughs Wellcome & Co Bangladesh Ltd, a British Multinational Pharmaceutical Company which later merged with Glaxo, another British Pharma giant and became Glaxo Wellcome. Rtn Karim continued with Glaxo Wellcome Bangladesh Ltd till 1997 as Strategic Planning Officer in the Marketing Department. He also worked in Adcomm, a leading advertising agency, as Client Executive and in IKRA Marketing Ltd, a distribution company, as Marketing Manager. Finally, before starting his own business in 2008, He worked in Kazi Enterprises Ltd, manufacturing and marketing company, as CEO.
Rtn Mohammad Monjurul Karim is a graduate from Dhaka University. He is a Life Time member of Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA) and a Life Time member of Dhaka University Psychological Association (DUPA). Rtn Monjurul Karim travelled many countries as part of his professional as well as family activities.
President Karim is happily married to CFL Irin Ferdous who is a Professor in Eden College. They are blessed with 2 sons – Waseef Mohammad Manzur and Nafees Mohammad Manzur. The elder son Waseef has graduated from North South University and currently working in a Swiss IT company and recently got married. The younger one Nafees is pursuing his A level.
