Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous held its 182nd General Meeting on 24th July, 2022 at Hotel Grace 21, Nikunja-2, Dhaka. Meeting was held during 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM. Rtn. Mohammad Abdullah, the club president conducted the meeting.
Meeting started with recitation from Holy Quran and followed by from Holy Gita and Holy Bible. Club Secretary Rtn. Al Amin Redwanur Rahman PHF recited the rotary invocation. Thereafter club president update the members about letters received from Rotary International, Rotary District Leadership and Other fellow Rotary Clubs. President also greeted members and their spouses for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.
Club president informed the members that membership committee and club board of directors have approved joining of two new members. He introduced the new members with the club members. All members introduced them to the new members. After the introduction, new members were inducted as new Rotarian and club member. Club President Rtn. M Abdullah, Charter President & Club Trainer Rtn. Kazi Saiful Hoque PHF and PP Rtn. Abdur Rahim PHF presented the Rotary Pin/badge to the new Rotarians and welcomed to the club.
Director of Club Service and Deputy Governor of the district Rtn. Abdur Rahim PHF informed the club about requirement of Governor visit for the club. He also informed the members about the recent changes in Governor visit procedures by the Rotary District.
In the meeting, Club Trainer and Chartered President Rtn. Kazi Saiful Hoque conducted a training on rotary history, rotary values and commonly used acronyms in rotary world. He also conducted a fun quiz session at the end of training and awarded books as gifts to the high scorer of the quiz.
At the end of the meeting, on request of Club president, PP Rotarian Hadi Mizan Al Hossain shared his experiences of performance of Hajj and journey to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
Meet was adjourned after sharing club statistics and secretarial announcement for 183rd General Meeting on 7th August 2022 at the same time in the same venue.

Kazi Kawser Sweet and Rtn. James Jacob Ribero were present in the meeting.
