The Eye Care Camp is one of the ongoing signature projects of Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous. On April 01, 2024; we organized 3rd phase of the eye camp at an old home run by Givensee Group at Hotapara, Gazipur with the technical assistance of Prime Bank Eye Hospital.
This is the 3rd Phase of the 2nd season of eye camp project. Under this phase 6 patient were sent for surgery which were successful. In the 2nd phase of the eye care project, total 13 patient were sent for eye surgery which was done successfully. In the 1st phase, a total of 141 helpless senior citizens were screened for Eye sight problems. Among them 45 were identified who need Cataract operations and 85 persons were given spectacles. 11 of them were identified with other issues. Besides, all of them were given free medicines. The cataract surgery will now be done at Prime Bank Eye Hospital, Dhanmandi phase by phase.
