Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory infection caused by SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus). Over time it has been observed that The COVID-19 virus not only transmitted through close physical contact and respiratory droplets, it is also transmitted through air and can contaminate open environment and can cause multi-organ damages of human body trough wide spread community contamination. In-view of this, Rotary Club of Dhaka through its local RCC organized to disinfect a large area of public/outdoor places comprising of six local Bazaar, market places, streets, sidewalks and unpaved walkways, local administration offices, post offices, mosques and other public places frequented by local inhabitants. The disinfectants used and spraying procedure in this exercise has been in line with the local health and safety guidance. This has been done in two phases during the month of May and June, 2020 by engaging 36 men days and dedicated 45 volunteer hours
