Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous held its virtual Collar handover program and 1st fortnightly general meeting of Rotary year 2021-202. President Rtn. Hadi Mizan Al Hossain called the meeting to order. After recitation from Holy Quran, Rtn. Hadi Mizan expressed his gratitude for successful completion of his presidency for the rotary Year 2020-21. He thanked club members for extending co-operation during his tenure. After his speech he handed over the Club Presidential collar to President Elect Rtn. Mohammad Shahidul Haque and invited him to take over the club meet as Club President for Rotary Year 2021-22.
Club President Rtn. Mohammad Shahidul Haque formally took off the responsibilities and and invited Club Secretary Rtn. Sarwar Faroqui to read the rotary invocation. In his opening speech, Club president thanked IPP Rtn. Hadi Mizan Al Hossain for his services as president of the club for 2020-21 as well as for smooth transition of club leadership. He also thanked all the club members for electing him club president for 2021-22 and requested co-operating from all the club members.
After club president’s speech, floor was open for discussion. Members present in the meeting took the floor one by one and congratulated Club president and the new board on taking over the responsibilities of club leadership and expressed their intention to extend cooperation to the club president as and when required. As being no other agenda, Club president adjourned the meeting after presentation of meeting statistics and secretarial announcement.
