Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous held its 186th General Meeting on 18th September, 2022 Online Platform Google Meet. Meeting was held during 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM. Rtn. Mohammad Abdullah, the club president conducted the meeting. He welcomed all the members and guest present at the meeting.
Meeting started with recitation from Holy Quran by PP Rtn. Kazi Sarwar Sweet. Rtn. Golam Sorwar Farouqui recited the rotary invocation. Thereafter, President also greeted members and their spouses for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.
On this date, club scheduled a movie night for its members. However, due to sudden sickness of several members as well as being out of city, members were not able to participate. For everyone’s convenience program for members’ movie night has been propended and online meeting was called instead.
During the meeting President and members continued discussion from previous meeting on proposals on basic education projects. Members presents has assigned to have a discussion with various school principals.
At the end of meeting, Club president lead a prayer for recovery of all the members and family members. In his prayer, president also prayed for recently deceased family and relatives of the club members.
Meet was adjourned after sharing club statistics and secretarial announcement for 2nd board meeting of Rotary year 2022-23 on 2nd October 2022 at Hotel Bengal Canary Part at Gulshan-1, Dhaka during 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM followed by 187th General Meeting at the same venue form 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Club President Rtn. M Abdullah, Club Secretary Rtn. Al Amin Redwanur Rahman PHF, Club Treasurer Rtn. Tazin Alam, PP Rtn. Md. Abdur Rahim PHF, CP Rtn. Kazi Saiful Hoque PHF B MD, Rtn. Golam Sorwar Farouqui, Rtn. Kazi Kawser Sweet and Rtn. Sarwar Hossain were present in the meeting.
