Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous held its 183rd General Meeting on 7th August, 2022 at Hotel Grace 21, Nikunja-2, Dhaka. Meeting was held during 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM. Rtn. Mohammad Abdullah, the club president conducted the meeting. He welcomed all the members and guest present at the meeting.
Meeting started with recitation from Holy Quran by Rtn. PP Mushfiqur Rahman PHF. Club Secretary Rtn. Al Amin Redwanur Rahman PHF recited the rotary invocation. Thereafter club president update the members about letters received from Rotary International, Rotary District Leadership and Other fellow Rotary Clubs. President also greeted members and their spouses for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. President informed the members present that PDG Rtn. F H Arif PHF, Club member Rtn. Golam Sarwar Farouqui and mother of club member Rtn. James Jacob Ribero has is ill and undergoing medical treatment. All the member present wished for quick recovery for all of them.
Club president informed the members that there were two guest present at the meeting. One is visiting Rotarian PP Hafiz U Biplob from Rotary Club of Eskaton Dhaka and another is Mr. Razib Ahmed, Sr. IT Administrator of s.Oliver Dhaka. He introduced the club guest with the members. All members introduced themselves to club guests. After the introduction, Club President Rtn. M Abdullah, Charter President & Club Trainer Rtn. Kazi Saiful Hoque PHF and PP Rtn. Abdur Rahim PHF presented a flower bouquet to the guests and thanked for visiting the club. Club guest PP Rtn. Hafiz U Biplob presented presidential pin and rotary badge to the club president.
At the end of the meeting, on request of Club president, PP Rotarian Mushfiqur Rahman and President Elect Rtn. Md. Monjurul Karim shared his experiences of travelling to Maldives and Kashmir respectively.
Meet was adjourned after sharing club statistics and secretarial announcement for 184th General Meeting on 21st August 2022 at the same time in the same venue.
