Deadly Cyclone Bulbul made landfall in Bagerhat, Khulna Satkhira, Pirojpur, Jhalakati and Patuakhali districts causing torrential rains, powerful winds and severe flooding. More than 150,000 people were evacuated and forced to take refuge in special shelters as the storm packed powerful winds of up to 120-kilometer per hour and forced the closure of ports and airports. In view of the rotary objective to help underprivileged people, RC Dhaka Mega City host a joint project on “Distribution of CI Sheet to Cyclone Bulbul affected Survivors”. RC Dhaka Mega City in collaboration with RC Satkhira and Jhalakati implemented this project for distribution of fifty (50) bundles of CI sheet amongst fifty (50) underprivileged families at the Cyclone Bulbul affected Satkhira and Jhalakati area. The total cost of the project is 50 x Tk. 5,000 (per bundle) = Tk. 250,000.
