In its continued effort to support underprivileged yet deserving students, the Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous has awarded a scholarship to Mohammed Sujan, a Class Eight student of Mohammadpur Grace International School & College. Sujan, who tragically lost his father, belongs to a low-income family and has been facing challenges in continuing his education.

To ease his financial burden and ensure uninterrupted learning, Dhaka Luminous has committed to providing an annual scholarship of BDT 8,000 to cover his tuition fees. The scholarship cheque was handed over to the school principal and teachers on 7th May 2025 in an informal ceremony held on campus.

Present at the handover were Club President Rtn. Al Amin Redwanur Rahman PHF, Past President Rtn. M Abdullah PHF, and Rtn. Tania Akter. Their presence reflected the club’s deep-rooted dedication to uplifting lives through education.

This initiative is part of Project Aspire, a flagship program of Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous aimed at creating opportunities for basic education among students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The club remains committed to empowering youth through access to education, one student at a time.
