Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous held its 231th general meeting on 22nd September 2024. The meeting took place at Chef’s Table, Unimart, Gulshan-1, Dhaka during 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Club President Rtn. Al Amin Redwanur Rahman PHF chaired the meeting.
The meeting started with recitation from Holy Quran by past president Rtn. Hadi Mizan Al Hossain PHF. Rtn. Mushfiqur Rahman led the rotary invocation. Club president welcomed and thanked everyone for joining the 231th general meeting. There being no specific greetings message for the members and news from district, club president directly went to meeting agenda.
During the meeting PP Rtn. Abdur Rahim attended the meeting with a guest who is the founder principal of a Junior High School at Gazipur. He requested donation of furniture from Dhaka Luminous. He also requested to visit his school. Service Committee Chairman Rtn. Mushfiqur Rahman informed his that he will consider this in the upcoming service committee meeting.
There being no other agenda, meeting was open for discussion and fellowship. Club members discussed about various topics. At the end of meeting, the club secretary presented the statistics of the meeting and declared time and venue of next meeting. Meeting ended after friendly dinner. In the meeting 13 of 21 members and 1 guest were present during the club meeting.
