Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous held its 227 general meeting on 7th July 2024. The meeting was also the 1st meeting of the club for rotary year 2024-25. The meeting took place at Ajo Idea Space, Gulshan-2, Dhaka during 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Club President Rtn. Al Amin Redwanur Rahman PHF chaired the meeting.
The meeting begined with Recitation from Holy books. Club Treasurer Rtn. Md. Muniruzzaman led the rotary invocation and Club Secretary announced members’ anniversaries and special events upon President’s request. Thereafter Club president welcomed and thanked everyone for joining the 1st meeting of the rotary year. There being no specific greetings message for the members and news from district, club president directly went to meeting agenda.
In his speech, the new president thanked his immediate past president Rtn. Monjurul Karim for his successful tenure. President sought everyone’s cooperation, prayer and well wishes. He also informed the club members about board decisions about increase of Membership subscription and other matters. After that meeting was open for discussion and fellowship. Club members discussed about upcoming family tours and various topics.
At the end of meeting, the club secretary presented the statistics of the meeting and declared time and venue of next meeting. Meeting ended with friendly dinner program. In the meeting 19 of 21 members were present during the club meeting. In the meeting Mr. Omar Farukh and Mr. Mohammed Hamidul Islam joined as a guest.
